Hi Claire, you made me laugh too when I was reading about "biking". I guess that keeping a sense of humor helps so much. Claire, I am so upset. I am keeping my temperatures and my temp should go up on Saturday. It was still quite low on MOnday. I caught myself anxiously watching digital thermometer in the morning and begging it silently to go up more. I do not know if the fact that this month I am trying to get lpregnant so much is putting a lot of stres on my body and therefore my body is responding this way.... My close friend after battling an infertility for a year got pregnant with twins in May (gthe same month when I coneived for the 2nd time). I cried to my husband like a little girl at the kindergarten (She will have two and I do not have one). Oh Claire, patience is a virtue. Marcela

Hi Ladies

I am popping in here. I had a m/c on Wednesday at 7 weeks and I want to try again right away. I am at 47 on my hormone levels so need to get back down. I took my temp this morning and will start to track it every morning to see if I can tell when I am o/v. If anyone has any tips or suggestions that would be great. Good luck to all of you!!!!

Amanda

Hi Dana, thanks for your info. I do not know here many women/girls except for Claire. But right now waiting for my potatoes to boil I decided to write you. First of all, I know how tough it is to have a miscarriage. The miscarriage rate is quite high, I read somewhere that almost every women will have it without realizing it. Still, your chances are great after 1 miscarriage. I read here a message from a lady with 4 miscarriages who delivered a beautiful healthy baby girl in July this year. As soon as your brown discarge stops and you start your new cycle it can happen that you get pregnant very fast. Some women even got pregnant with twins after miscarriage. And your age does not really mean that you need to panick. If you were 41 then it would be different. So try to be patient with yourself, take a good care of yourself and it will happen. Love, Marcela

Heather and Marclea, thanks for the replies. Getting a second opinion never even occurred to me but it seems like an easy solution. I will try on Monday to talk to another Dr in my practice and see what he thinks. Thanks for the advice.

Marclea, I can't speak from experience but I know a woman who had her boys 10 months apart and she loves it. She is hoping that her boys will be best friends and they absolutely keep each other busy but sharing is a problem. I have a friend who accidently got pregnant right after delivering (we should all be so lucky) and she is looking forward to it. I, personally, wouldn't want they ony b/c I want to enjoy my first before I even think about a second.
have a great weekend!
Dana

Hi Marclea,

I am glad I can help you feel better, Its real helps talking to someone who has been though the same thing.
I laughed reading about what you said about tring to 'help the little swimmers' I lay on my back and cycled like I was on a bike bescause i read it can help!!! I dont know if it helped but it certainly gave me and Brian a laugh!!!
As for having babys close i think it wouldnt be a problem. I am not saying it isnt hard work because it is Skye was a fantasic baby and slept though the night at three weeks old and it was still hard work!
But belive me its rewarding!! My sister got pregnant when her little boy was three months old and altough it was tough for the first three months after the baby was born. It soon settled down , they are both fantastic friends now and enertain eachother most of the day ( ossain is 5years now and Amber 4years)
If I didnt have a mc when I did my baby would of been born in January when skye was 22months old, which I thought would of been a perfect age.

Hi Claire, you made me feel better about my effort to get pregnant. I am too spending my time counting days to my "peak" day and calculating. With my ovulation being so late many times I have a feeling that one days lasts forever. It has been 4 months since the last miscarriage and one would think that I should be optimistic, relaxed and completely healed. As much as I try to relax, I guess I will be fully relaxed when I hold my baby in my arms. Claire, it is so odd because I did not have any problems to get pregnant last two times, but after the last heartbreak I ended up lifting my legs up in a shoulder stand for 10 minutes to help little swimmers. It seems that desperate woman is doing desperate things. By the way it is funny I was born in March 1977, so we are 11 months apart. I actually would like to ask you as a first time mom. Do you think that it is quite possible to 2 have babies 11 or 12 months apart? You probably know how is it with Skye as 1 child, but I wonder if a time management could make it possible to raise 2 children so close at age. The reason why I am asking is because I would love to have 2 children very close. Me and my sister were 8 years apart, and though I love her very much, I could not really bond with her on the same level as I would have if she was 1 or 2 years younger from me. Claire, see me silly girl, not having the first baby yet, but already dreaming about the second one. Have a very weekend. Love, Marcela

Hi Dana. 1st I'm very sorry for what you have gone through. All of us really. When I had my m/c it started 3 days before with this weird brown stuff that I guess may have been blood. I had actual blood for about a week, then had bright yellow stuff for about 5 days. I called my dr to find out what it was and she said it was normal. It was really weird. But, it took about 6 weeks for me to start another period. Some women take longer. I think it just takes a while for your body to return to normal, and each woman is different. I would give it time and go back to the dr if you don't get a period at all.

Hi Ladies, I'm so sorry to intrude on your discussion but I can't help but relate. I had to have a D&E on 9/1 (my 1st pregnancy)and I was, of course, heartbroken. I'm sorry that anyone has to go through this so my thoughts are with you. My question is . . . I'm not sure I have had my period yet and my OB/GYN says that if I'm not bleeding to death (my words not his) not to worry about it. I have had small amounts of this brownish/redish stuff for more then 2 weeks (maybe even 3). Any ideas what this may be or be caused by? If this keeps up I'll never be prego again - my husband is grossed out by it and won't touch me! I'm 33 and will be 34 in Feb so I feel like by "fertility window" is closing! Any help you can offer is appreciated!
Dana

Hi Marclea,
I agree with you totally about my daughter Skye. She dosent know it but she has been my savior during the past few months!!!
I can totally relate to your deparation to get pregnant again. My days of conception fell last weekend. My patner works night shift and i was climbing into bed with him as soon as Skye was having a day time nap and waking him up.
(I am sure when we have a beautiful baby each we will laugh about this!!!)
My pantner Brian says the same thing that we can try next month ect. But I spend my time counting the days down to the cds and then to when my period is due.
People say we should try to relax and it will just happen. But to me relaxing doesnt seem like an option.
I am 28, will be 29 in Febuary.

Take care
love Claire

Hiya Marcela,

Once again I am sorry about your losses.

What is Clomid and Vitex?
I think my cycles are the same, as I have been using a conception indicatior and it still mid cycle.
I cant wait to get pregnant again either. I really want a brother or sister for skye. I had planned to have them close together, Skye is 18months so hopefully theres still time.

I will keep my fingers crossed for both of us.

Claire

Hi Claire,
The first one was in the 6th week (it was not a planned pregnancy), after it ended I could not wait to get pregnant again. We waited a month, I got pregnant in May. On 6/13 I had the test turned positive and the following day I started bleeding. The second pregnancy last 5 weeks. Claire I read about the effect a miscarriage can have on cycle a few times online, I can try to find those articles. After the 2nd miscarriage I tried to gather as much info as possible. After the first miscarriage my cycle was the same, however the second miscarriage messed me up. I used to ovulate on CD 18, now it is CD 23, which is very very late according to doctors. I do not want to take Clomid as I was advised to "fix" my cycle. Instead I started taking vitex, however it is a slow process. Claire, I will jump 2 meters high when I finally bring a baby into our house.
