That is what I did this month.
I had my 2 positive test on the OPKs and I didn't say a word.
So he fell asleep.
We only did it the next day...which supposedly was OV day.
So who knows. We only BD twice!!! at the fertile time. Unbelivable!

My DH told me once: "You are only using me..."
Oooh, that was so cute, but also very sad...

Apparently it is stressful for the men. DH have mentioned it to me several times. So ladies you just pretend you are so attracted to them in that precise moment that you cannot resist. Don't mention OV. That is what I'm gonna do and was suggested by DH...so you might want to try it.

I hope so too...but doubt it. Well we were supposed to BD last night as per plan and it never happened. We had guests over and by the time we were alone, we broke out into a fight. I have no clue why we fought. trust me we didnt have reason enough. Its been after months that we had an argument.

We havent even TTC full fledged and the pressure is taking over. I guess this month I will rely on the accident...otherwsie Elen, we are in similar cylces...We try November end.

Have stopped the herbs. Thanks Elen for the write up :)
Cheers

Stop immediately ....read this:

It has been used for centuries in China for regulating the menstrual cycle and easing menstrual pain and cramping. It can be used to help women regain normal menstrual cycles after taking "the Pill." It has proven helpful for relieving hot flashes during menopause. Dong quai can be used for insomnia and blood pressure stability for both men and women. (The affect on blood pressure can be an overall lowering although sometimes it may rise slightly first, followed by a decline). It can reduce PMS and may help anemia, suppressed menstrual flow, uterine bleeding, abdominal pain after childbirth, dry intestines, chronic pelvic disorders and constipation and headaches due to blood deficiency. Dong quai helps the liver utilize more oxygen and therefore can be useful in treating hepatitis and cirrhosis. It may also help with abnormal protein metabolism. OK.
The body wrap/mud sounds good.
You know what helps also? Dry skin brushing.
Get a soft body brush, and gently brush the skin every day for about 5 minutes before shower.
Start on the legs, back of legs, thighs, abdomen, gently! Arms. always towards the heart, with rhythmical slow movements. That is enought to encourage the lymph flow and to detoxify the skin.
The skin is the biggest organ, has a major role in detoxification of the body, takes a huge load off the rest of the organism.
I tell this to every client of mine, and it works well.
Seems like nothing, but in fact, you give a gently lymphatic drainage for yourself every day!

I have heard that virgin coconut oil and a capsule or two of vitamin e does the trick too...
My mom said she didnt get a single stretch mark coz she used tis thruout her pregnancy.
Also no itching the growning belly.

I had a aloe plant in India...I just buy the leaves in Hong Kong. You can also drink it as a part of your juice evryday...

Ohoho.
I've bought all the ingredients to my fantastico striae/stretch mark cream.
Now I just need the Aloe Vera leaves.
I'll pick them up tomorrow.

How strange, I am a skin care specialist and I DON'T HAVE MY OWN ALOE PLANT!!! HUH?

I'll let you know how it works. I massage a lot of girls with cellulite and stretch marks, I'll try it on them if they are interested. After all, it is all organic!

PS: At the moment I am using organic coconut oil and cocoa butter mix. IT'S AWESOME.
The stretch marks are so much better on me and my friend! (we do a swap of the cellulite massage) and since August, when we started the improvement is amazing!
i am so surprized how fast the body is able to recover/rejuvenate/repair itself with the right assistance....

why could that be?
Is it b/c of the hormones are all messed up? Must be.
I hope that once you get those balancing herbs, your period and whole cycle returns to normal, Elen.
Though the cramps won't have to come back, hey?

Elen, my AF was a lot lighter and shorter after the m/c as well - I expected it to be the other way around as well. Went from 7 days to 3!! and almost no cramps at all.

That is the first herb I got from the naturopath, as my AF was very light.
The first month taking it, I FELT OV first time in my life and my AF was RED blood, which has never happened before.
One thing I didn't like though, AF used to be 3-4 very light days, and on Dong Quai it was 5-6-7 medium (?) flow.
The acupuncturist said it also, that without a good blood supply, the ebb won't be able to implant, as it needs a "fertile bed" to be implanted in. Dong Quai increases the blood flow to the area, hence supplies lot of oxygen and nutrients to the uterus through blood.

Strange, I am trying the save the Planet, I buy green energy, I shop local, I eat organic, etc...but I never thought of adopting.
I guess b/c I never thought of having children before. It is all new to me. Until recently I just didn't think of kids. At all.
I was almost afraid of them...
But now that I am on it, it is something to think about...

I think daughters are more attached to their parents and a lot of caring...Its just us girls...we care more, we give more, we relate more, we have higher EQs than men...
:)
Me 2 want a daughter. However I want just one child. I will adopt one. If I have a son I adopt a daughter and visa versa. Too many children in the world needing good families.
My bro will be adopting a son next year too. I think if even half of us decide to do that...the world will be a better place.

I am the same.
I would try it if it was a natural remedy.
I am quite frankly against the chemical fact...

I can see the connection, but that is even worse, as loosening the CM must be (ONE) side effect of the Robitussin...
I don't know...probably Pre-seed...

Te fertiliTea is also to be stopped once you get the BFP... It doesn't say that it is a problem untill then... One big problem that it could cause is that the Raspberry leaf tea can be used to cause contractions and then cause a PTL... I haven't heard anything about the green tea though...

Yes, as soon as you find out that you pg, you stop taking the Fertility Blend.
I have read it too, but apparently it is helpful getting pg, b/c of the antioxidant effect.
So this is only PREconception stuff.

Hi Sonia,

this is cycle 6, CD 5. (cycle 2 DH was ill, and cycle 4 was only 20 days, so I completely miscalculated OV...so literally we only had like 2 good months, well 3, but in the first one we didn't time BD. ...it could have happened anyway...)
Time just doesn't go...

Fertility Blend: http://fertilityblend.com/html/fer
tilityblend__optimize_repro.ht
ml
By the look of the ingredients it is nothing special, but contains all of the stuff we take anyway.
Vit C and E, green tea, selenium, zinc, folic acid, iron, magnesium...B6 and 12, L-arginine an amino acid, and VITEX to regulate the cycle and bring OV if you don't OV.
I was taking B12, Vit C, zinc and folic acid anyway, drink green tea, and raspberry leaf tea.
So now I only take this one and hopefully that will help.
I found an Australian supplier, I don't know whether you can get it in Hong Kong, but if not, let me know and I give you the link.

hey Elen,
That was fast work at getting the info...my mom has it all worng in that case. Coz she said i should use it till i find out i am pregnant....hehehhe lol.
About the article mentioning Bhang...thats hemp...and highly intoxicating. I am not sure anyone in India would use that when pregnant. Your doggies are just so cute...:)
Hey NYikaa, I love that dane...looks majestic. One of my chinese friends gave me this herb which looks like dried red plums and must be boiled into a tea and had. to be avoided during AF. Not sure what it is. However they are red looking and slightly oval...
LOl I am such a herb illeterate.

here is what I found aout the seeds Sonia was saying....Apparently you should be already pegnant before taking them...it is not for conciving...

The seeds of Shivlingi resemble to the shape of male genitals. It is common belief in Chhattisgarh that use of Shivlingi seeds is beneficial for pregnant woman interested in only male child. For the first time in my life, I have seen the use of Shivlingi at Gulgul village. Gulgul is 80kms far from the capital of Chhattisgarh state. The natives and traditional healers of Gulgul are using this herb to get only male child from centuries. The traditional healers of this village informed me that they have gained this knowledge from their forefathers. According to them , they collect the herb from the dense forests of Sirpur region and by the typical bad smell of herb, one can easily identify Shivlingi herb. The herb is collected at fruiting stage. The traditional healers of Gulgul village advise the pregnant woman to start taking Shivlingi seeds two months after the start of pregnancy. The woman is instructed to take 3-4 seeds daily empty stomach up to one month. The healers warn the woman to not to chew or crush the seeds, just swallow whole seed. The traditional healers from other parts of Chhattisgarh are also aware of its use to get male child. The traditional healer of Rajim region, gives the Shivlingi seeds with gud. The traditional healer of Kanker region suggests his patients to use Shivlingi seeds with the seeds of Bhang (Cannabis sativa). He gives Bhang at morning and Shivlingi seeds at night to the woman. In reference literatures, the medicinal properties of Shivlingi leaves and whole plant are described. According to these literatures, Shivlingi is hot, pungent and alternative. Its use as tonic is also reported. In reference literatures related to botany, I have found this description about Shivlingi herb. It is an annual scandent herb; stem grooved and glabrous; tendrils bifid; Leaves membranous, 10-15 cm long, green and scabrid above, paler and smooth beneath, 5 lobed, deeply cordate base, lobes oblong lanceolate, margins sinuate denticulate; Flowers monoecious, male in fascicles of 3-6 flowers, corolla campanulate, 5-partite, ovate oblong; female flowers solitary , or few or many, corolla as in the male; Fruits baccate, sub sessile, globose, smooth, bluish green, streaked with broad vertical lines.; Seeds yellowish brown, and as described earlier of Shivling shape; Flowering time in Chhattisgarh conditions varies between August to October. I personally feel that there is a need of scientific evaluation of Shivlingi’s medicinal properties.

Nyikaa,

I believe you need to have the seed on empty stomach. Thats the only instruction I got. In india they say this seed will bear a woman a male child...even though I am not so stuck on the sex of the child. It will regularise ur ovultion and make it in the middle of your cycle I believe. Its called the SHIV LING SEED. Need to know whats the English biological name is.

Also I read ur post on Yoga. I have been practicing Yoga all my life. It was originated in India. If you belive in naturopathy you must study our medicine which is called ayurveda.
More laterz
Hugs
Sonia

Hey Elen,
Will get my butt out this weekend to do the herb shopping. BTW sad news...the original get pregnant recipe which I had made last week just got fungus, so Elen when you make it stick to small quantities...kg is too much darling.
Hey my mom is sending me some seeds from India and I have no clue what its called. Need to ask my mom so I can tell yo girls about it. Mom says she knows of a lot of women who got pregnant just by using these seeds.

Hey Sonia we missed you girl...good idea with the chinese herbs but careful with wild yam it should be used only the first half of the cycle cause the second half you will get the opposite effect.
