Thanks. Yes, I need to take it easy. That's super hard for me! I have a 2 year old and a 16 month old...they keep me moving! Fortunately my mom took one of them to her house for 2 days so that will help and my feet are up as I type! :-)
I wanted to tell you that you look super cute pregnant. Love your picture! If only I could look so good! LOL (not to be...oh well!)

wow, I'm glad you went to the hospital! That's crazy that you are already having contractions. I hope everything goes well for the duration of your pregnancy. I wish the Dr.s would be more informative. but if they feel you are OK just take it SUPER easy (as much as you can w 2 kids!). Good luck!

Thanks! I ended up in the hospital for 7 hours yesterday at the OB Triage unit and they did exactly what you said your doctor did, with pretty much the same results. They did an ultrasound because the internal exam showed that my cervix might be too small but all was ok. I had to have a shot to stop contractions, though. It's good to hear from another who has gone through the same thing. Thanks!

Hi. I'm a little worried and could use some guidance. I'm 5 months pregnant and started spotting today. I think the dr told me if there was any bleeding that I needed to go to the hospital but when I looked back at my notes, I hadn't written that down. I really don't want to go to the hospital and I'm terrified of something being wrong with the baby. He's moving a lot but I just haven't felt well today. Very sore in my lower belly and kind of like a knitting needle is stuck through my belly button. I know that's an odd description but it's the closest example I could think of. Does anyone know what I should do and if this is ok or if I need to go somewhere? I called my dr and left a message but who knows when I'll hear back.
Thanks! Amy
