I have heard a lot about this and all those who go through IVF treatments have to take progesterone shots, so it is pretty common. If you don't have enough progesterone, you will m/c.
Actual birth date 9/2/06 by C-section after 37 hours of labor!
Beautiful baby girl, who was (I can say now almost 6 weeks later) was totally worth the labor.

i know this post is a few days old but i thought i'd reply anyway.... I had a m/c at 13 wks and when I got pregnant again months later the dr checked my hormone levels right away. My progesterone levels were low... and that is a hormone that helps "keep" you pregnant. I applied a progesterone creme 2ml each day (helps to boost those levels up up up) and have a beautiful little girl now. I"m pg again and only 6 weeks along but I"m taking progesterone again. I am still anxious for this first trimester to be over though!
It's a boy!

I have Factor V leiden. I have been taking 40 mg of Lovenox since the positive pregnancy test. Prior to that I was on progesterone suppositories. Right now I have a clot under the placenta. I'm praying it will dissolve! I'm 18 weeks pregnant.

I wanted to know if any is taking a hormone supplement during pregnancy. I was told to take it and I just found out that I'm pregnant. I'm unsure of any problems in using it. Also, does any have a blood clotting disorder. Just wanting more info.
