Using an epilady

HI everyone,

I'm 19 weeks pregnant and was wondering if I can use the Epilady on my face. The manual says to consult your doctor but most of us can't just call the doctor when we want to know such things. Has anyone ever used it during pregnancy?If so, what are the possible side effects?
Your help would be much appreciated.
