I wish I had some fantastic advice for you. My first didn't STTN until he was 15mo old and my second is just now doing it nearly every night at 21 months. My first woke every 2 hours and thankfully my second typically only woke once a night until recently.

I did have to help my son along with the process. After 12mo I stopped night feeding for the first 5-6 hours of the night. I offered comfort, rocking, patting, just no nursing. Once we passed 6 hours he could nurse for the rest of the night. The first night was 2 solid hours of screaming, the second night was maybe 30min and after a week he was sleeping 4-6 hours most nights which was progress. Over the next few months he STTN on his own.

With my daughter we had noticed that she was just waking once a night for a drink. We started putting her down holding a cup and that stopped the night waking for the most part. She still wakes once every now and then but it's getting much better and I can handle just once.

Pay attention to what is causing the night waking. Is he waking to eat? drink? for snuggles?

aww your boys are cute :) have you noticed at all if he is gassy because that can cause hime to be super cranky maybe tray some lavender calming baths before bed and some gas drops mylacon I think is what they are called. and maybe a binky for comfort if you haven't tried those things it might help. good luck :)

I need suggestion for one one my boys. One sleeps through the night the other doesn't. We finially got Raiden to go to bed easier (without all the screaming) but he continues to wake up every two hours. Hpw can I get him to stop waking up!!! *They are almost nine months.
