(LOL) that's good...Isabel only has one pair of sandals and a pair of patent leather crib shoes for special occasions.I bought them to fit exactly, took pictures, and then took them back for the next size so she'll have em awhile.I'm so bad!

you're speaking to the woman with 18 pairs of baby shoes (including 9 pairs of baby sandals and thongs)

thanks again...I know she really isn't supposed to be wearing shoes necessarily but sometimes I feel she needs something. We have this function coming up and there's gonna be pictures and I think the outfit would look much better with some shoes, you know?

Oooh...the knowledge cometh!!! I didn't think they would put infant shoes over in the shoe dept! I will go look next time. That's probably where they are at cause I'm definitely only looking in the baby and young girls sections...you know by the accessories?

Thanks!
Ooh..I'm excited!

Okay petite I was thinking about this in the car earlier..did you look on the baby aisle at walmart or did you look at the shoe section in walmart?Cuz if you were just looking at the baby section i'd go look in the shoe section..they have loads of infant shoes in ours but not over with the baby stuff, only with the rest of the shoes .

Hey PP...
I got them at a children's boutique here in town. They were like $25. I prob will not buy them again for Bethy. I found that payless and Walmart had great shoes. They grow so quickly. Its silly to spend so much money on them. I still think that a good leather shoe (high top) is the best when they are first learning to walk.

Just a word of wisdom from my DH the podiatrist....He says that babies should not wear shoes until they are walking. When they do walk it should be a good leather, sturdy shoe. I used a brand called "angel baby shoes" with Catie when she was learning to walk.

Abigail's opened in the last year. I haven't been yet. With this being girl #3, I didn't need much baby stuff.

Don't know what size you are, but if you're smaller the Plato's has lots of good stuff thanks to all the college girls.

Well...I don't know how to describe it...maybe they are seasonal. But when I've gone to consignment shops and the like,I've run across what looks like leather shoes with very delicate cutouts along the toe line and buckles. It's kinda like a casual to dress type shoe. But I've been to several Walmarts and nothing but the Baby Connection stuff in those boxes.I'm gonna ask around next time?

Oh and TS-...you know I've been meaning to try that Once Upon a Child...haven't been there yet but have heard of it.Thanks for the reminder. What about Abigails Attic on Texas? Is it worth going? Are they both high end or average consignment shops in regards to price?

Did you try both of the Walmarts? I usually don't have good luck with clothing or shoes at the Bryan store.

Also, have you found the Once Upon a Child? And Old Navy has most of their summer stuff on clearance. There was some good baby stuff last Wed when I was there.

Every time I see a pair of shoes from the KC brand, they are so cute.Where do I find them at?THey are definately not a really high quality brand or whatever...I was sure it was Walmart but then when I go...I can never find the shoes.I'm looking for two very particular style shoes and can't find them anywhere (not that I'm in a hurry)
