Hi - Here's Ellie's daily schedule: It is pretty much the same every day.

5:00 a.m. - breastfeed, she falls back to sleep, and I get showered

6:00 a.m. - I get her up and dressed for Early Head Start

7:00 a.m. - 8:00 - Play time w/friends and teachers

8:00 a.m. - Breakfast - either pumped breastmilk or forumla bottle, and whatever the center has for the meal - Friday it was pancakes, mixed cereal w/breastmilk, pears and breastmilk sippy cup

8:30 - 10:00 - Nap Time!!!

10:00 a.m. - Snack, fruit puffs, water, breastmilk or formula bottle, fruit (cut up good)

10:00 - 11:30 - Play time

11:30 a.m. - Lunch, breastmilk/forumla bottle/sipper, Friday it was spaghetti, bread, peas - but usually a good meal w/veggies

1:00 p.m. - Off to the babysitters, and she usually gets a bottle and snacks, crackers, fruit, veggies

1:30 - 2:30 p.m. - Nap time

3:00 p.m. - Gets picked up by dad and goes home

4:00 pm. - Nurse when I get home

5:30 p.m. - Dinner - Nurse/bottle, and whatever we have for dinner

6:30 p.m. Bath

7:30 p.m. - Nurse and BED!!!

Just started sleeping through the WHOLE night last week!

Ellie refuses to eat baby jar food. At her nine month baby check last week, her ped. said it was fine to give her "table" food, just be careful to cut/chop it up good. And of course, gave us foods that she should not eat yet.

Oh, she only have 2 teeth too!

This is ours right now (it has changed a lot since she was 7 months!). She is 9 months old.

4:00 breastfeed

7:30 breastfeed

9:00 breastfeed, cereal with fruit mixed in

12:00 breastfeed, veggies or fruit or meat or pasta or cheese or yogourt or any combo)

1:30 nap (1-2.5 hours)

3:30/4:00 breastfeed

6:00 breastfeed, veggies or fruit or meat or pasta or cheese or yogourt or any combo)

7:45 breastfeed

8:00 bedtime

She doesn't drink very much breastmilk at certain times. At other times she drinks a lot. I nurse her 7 times a day so that I can maintain my milk supply.

At breakfast she generally eats 5 tbsp cereal with 3 tbsp fruit (sometimes she doesn't finish it). At lunch she eats about 5-6 tbsp total (sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less). At dinner she will eat anywhere from 5 tbsp - 14 tbps (lately though she has only been eating 5-6).

I also let her have a baby mum mum before bed.

6 am-breast
10 am- mixed cereal(3tbsps /water)
piece of torn up dry whole wheat toast
nap at 11 or 12
2pm- snack of either a handful of plain cheerios and puffed wheat, 2 or 3unsalted whole wheat crackers, and/or mixed steamed veggies, and a arrowroot cookie
nap at 3
5 pm- 1 and half tbsps tomato soup/rice/mixed veggie homemade soupy kinda concoction, and 2 tbsps of unsweetened sugarfree applesauce, and if still hungry a arrowroot cookie, which usually is palyed with and nibbled on
6pm bath
7pm breastfeed
7 or 8, sleep til 6am

sometimes the times change, but this is her basic schedule, and she has to be in bed by 9 the latest, and she has been skipping her afternoon snack sometimes, but this is the daily thing, and she loves it, gets cranky if it changes, so it works for us, lol

Hi everyone,
I'm not sure if my child's eating and sleeping schedule is similar to others his age (he is 9 months). I'd love to hear from you as to what you think a typical eating and sleeping schedule is for an infant this age. I know there is not one right answer, but I'd love to get your opinions. Thanks for your time!
