that's cool Samantha how odd that the Irish and the Italians mix so well together, isn't it? Thanks for the warm welcome!

Hi girls, nice to meet you all. I have been looking around and answering a couple of mex, but I thought it's time to introduce myself :)

My name is Giulia, I'm Italian and married for a year to a wonderful Irishman, but I live in the UK. On the day of my wedding anniversary, i discovered I was pregnant, what great present, don't you think? Funnily enough, it should have happened on my hub's birthday... even more a coincidence :)

Anyway at the moment everything *touches wood* seem to be going well. I feel some strange feelings to my womb, as if my period was about to come every day, but I've read it's normal and it's just the womb stretching. *touches wood again* still no sign of morning sickness thanks God, but i do get tired earlier than usual, my breasts are tender and have increased in size (hub is obviously happy about that!) and somehow it looks as if I'm showing already... at least the bump shows even in the morning as soon as I wake up... which I think it's odd at 6 weeks for your first pregnancy. I still haven't put on any weight as well, so I really don't know what to think! I have my MW appt on the 30th of May hopefully she'll be able to answer a few of my questions :)

As for now, very excited about being a mum from January but also worried that everything will be going all right and that the baby will be healthy and normal! Keep your fingers crossed for me :S
