I CRAVED orange juice (the simply orange) with my son and I'm not sure how much I drank but I had to have it. I think that was after my morning sickness was almost gone though. What helped me when I was sick was eating green grapes, I guess cause they kept my mouth moist. It was a very rough time I quit my job due to throwing up constantly I was so worried it would hurt my baby but he was fine.

If that is all you can get down? Then I say whatever you have to do to get by right now.... I HATE juice its full of sugar and a TON of calories. For me, nothing worse then drinking my calories. Calories add up faster then bills its annoyingbe you could try adding a little water to your OJ?

Remember that the extra calories you need for baby is like 300 which is equal to a glass of milk.
I know weight gain is not your main concern right now. But when you are able to eat more then be sure to cut back on the juice.... AND YES BRUSH BRUSH BRUSH your teeth, juice is the worse on your teeth.

I just had Zofran prescribed to me for morning sickness. I woke up and popped the pill and have not had any morning sickness today. Miracle pill.

On another note, be sure to brush your teeth after drinking. My dentist and everything I've read about tooth care indicate that juice is less than kind to our teeth.

Operation: Poppyseed is proceeding well.

Is it ok to drink 2L of orange juice (sometimes a little more) a day? Everything say's just to take every thing in moderation and I don't want to make myself sick by overdoing it, but orange juice is the ONLY thing that even slightly help's with morning sickness, and that includes two different expensive prescriptions that the doctor tried me out on, and neither helped at all. But for about two weeks now orange juice almost seems to coat my stomach and if I sip on it throughout the day it seems to keep me from throwing up. It has to be Minute Maid and nothing else seems to have the same effect. Is 2L's you think ok? My hubby thinks it's fine, he said my body would let me know before it had a bad effect on me, but do you girls agree? Is 2L of Orange juice a day ok if it's the only thing that even slightly helps with morning sickness?
