Thanks. I wasn't sure if i should still be trying to lose a bit of weight or not. I will start keeping a food diary as this week i've already noticed a 1lb drop in weight despite eating lots...but probably not the most healthy foods.

You should probably be weighing yourself weekly. Your goal during this first trimester is weight maintenance. I would suggest that you also track your food and beverage intake---this will help you to determine the calorie range to meet your calorie needs with your 5K training as well as your breastfeeding demands. Select foods to nourish your body: lean meats, fruits, vegetables, lowfat milk/dairy foods, whole grains (brown rice, whole wheat pasta and bread, oatmeal, etc).

Please can someone help with regards to what I should be eating.
I'm 6 weeks pregnant, still breastfeeding my 11 month old and I'm also training for a 5km run. And I have no idea what I should be eating anymore! My BMI was 25 when I got pregnant (was trying to lose weight at the time) so I'm scared of putting on too much weight too quickly but also don't want to deprive the baby and the 11 month old, and myself of nutrition.
