My Babyfit calorie range is 2200-2300. I have no idea how many calories I was eating before I got pregnant. I did track for a long time about 1500 a day. The last few months I have used the clean eating approach. It is really hard for me to track my calories. I am 6 weeks pregnant. I have gained 2 pounds. I have hypothyroid and am insulin resistant.

My babyfit calorie range is at 2000 to 2300. Which I think is much too high for me in the first trimester. I was eating around 1500 to 1700 before and losing/maintaining.

I try to stay in between 1800 and 2000 right now. But I have already gained 5 pounds. I have gone over 2000 a few times and I think that's my problem. Being already overweight, I think I should shoot for 1800 to 1900 for the rest of the 1st trimester and the 2nd. Then increase to 2000/2100 in the 3rd.

What is your Babyfit calorie range?

Do you know how many calories you were consuming before getting pregnant? Were you maintaining your weight on this amount of calories? How many weeks pregnant are you? How much weight have you gained? How many calories have you been consuming?

With a little more information, we can probably determine a more appropriate calorie range.

I think the calories it recommends are way to high. Have cut mine down to 1500-1900.

I feel that the number of calories they gave me is too much, but I don't know. I am 5'5" and pre-pregnancy weight 182. I am also struggling with what to eat since I am gluten intolerant and allergic to eggs. I also try to eat organic only with little to no refined sugars. We use stevia for almost everything! Thanks!
