Thank you Mdolley!
Ok here is an update about the mold on the bagel thing-
Nothing happened. And it has been 72 hours. So I am pretty sure everything is going to be allright.
Next time I will make sure to LOOK before EATING :)

thanks Becky and everyone else for the replies. I went to read my trusty book of What to Expect When You're Expecting and they don't even mention a problem with mold. The problems they seem most focused on is the listeria problem and things like salmonella and e coli. It also said that food poisoning is most likely to result in dehydration rather than anything harming the baby so you have to make sure you are able to keep down fluids. They state that if you cannot, then you may have to get medical care( I guess to get rehydrated with an IV) I actually had some kind of food poisoning/stomach virus back in April before I was pregnant, and had to go to the hospital to get rehydrated bc I had the runs really bad and couldnt keep anything down and almost passed out.

We should try to avoid moldy food, it can be dangerous...However that acidic stomach helps with a lot of these problems, I'm sure you are fine.

I'm sure you are fine - besides the gross out factor, nothing very dangerous there.

I accidentally took a bite of an "everything" bagel this morning that had white mold growing on it. Is this dangerous? Once I realized it, I spit some out and threw the rest out. I would appreciate any input, as today is my wedding day and now I am really anxious and worried
