I think that pregnancy tests have a hormone in them that makes you start your period. Whenever I was late and took a test, I would start my period without fail that day. No matter how late I was, it seemed to be waiting for me to take a test before starting!

We are very excited about adding onto our family.

Thank you!

I actually was so racked up with worry that I bought a pregnacy test this morning on my way to work. Negative! Thank goodness.

The negative test also took away my other stress because nothing else going on in my life seems as hard as being pregnant again right now. I instantly felt lighter.

And guess what... 1 hour later my period released full force. Funny how the body works.

You could definitely stop having a period due to stress. It happened to me twice. I am very healthy and was tested extensively when it happened. I had no hormone imbalances (which could be another reason you stopped having a period) or any other issue. My body just simply decided it wouldn't be the best to bring a child into the world under the conditions I was under. After things lightened up, my period came back.

You might want to go to a physician and make sure your hormones aren't imbalanced. That could be hurting other areas of your life as well. I hope the answer is something very simple for you!

Is there any reason besides being pregnant again that my period would suddenly be very light?

I know I have been super stressed lately with work, the baby's non-sleeping, and remodeling...

I have had a regular 25 day menstral cycle since 6 weeks post partum. Every month my body has worked like clockwork. But this month (this week) I started spotting on day 28 and I should be on my heaviest day and I still don't need a pad or tampon! What is going on?

I am afraid to take a pregnancy test because I really wasn't planning on being pregnant again for awhile. I am so stressed out about it I can hardly think about anything else.

And we have been very careful not to fool around while or even close to my ovulation. Looking back over the last few months there shouldn't be any way I am pregnant again.

What could be causing this?
