I went with-

"Thank Heaven for little boys"

If the baby was already born I might go with , welcome baby ________.

She has a little boy already too, so I think it fits :)

I worked in a bakery back in the 90's LOL, I would go with Welcome Baby! If you want you can follow that with Baby and last name in my case it would be Welcome Baby Calhoon.

I've seen things on them like rubber duckie, booties, and Congrats. Hmm- I like it but cant think of anything short enough to share! LOL!

Our cake says "[mom's name] & [Dad's name]' baby shower [date of the shower]"

I think it's nice and simple :)

Just something on top not on the side. and then have blue flowers or something?? I could always write the,

"Someone special, someone new, baby boy we can't wait to meet you." On fun paper and stick it in the cake cake with a short skewer stick or something like a little sign, then she could keep it. I don't know.

We don't know the name yet.

That does seem a little long, especially for an 8 in. round. Do you know the baby boy's name? Maybe you can do shorter saying with his name included. Also, are you having it written on top of the cake or around the side? I make cakes for special occasions, so I'm just trying to get a picture in my head.

I'm loving this adventure called pregnancy and am excited to be a Mommy!

I am bringing the cake for my friends baby shower next weekend. She is having a boy. I need ideas of what the cake should say.

Right now I have;

"Someone Special, Someone New, Little baby boy we can't wait to meet you."

It seems sorta long for the size cake I'm getting, which is be an 8' round.

I want something more special then just
"Congratulations"

If anyone has any clever ideas for a girl baby shower cake too let me know, as the showers keep coming after this one...... I sorta started a fad with having a second baby in my group of friends :)
