Do check this out with your doctor-especially if it become painful. The changes in your body shape during pregnancy can cause ribs to be displaced, but it's usually not a serious issue unless it causes a lot of pain. Cathy

I've had huge problems with my ribs popping out - I puked for 8 months with both of the boys and the trouble started then :) I ended up having to to to my chiropractor every couple weeks to have 3-7 ribs pooped back into place during my pregnancies - I found once they started going out of place, it was that much easier for it to happen over anad over again.
I usually found it super painful when I turned wrong or was puking, but otherwise it wasn't too bad most of the time.
Definately go see a chiropractor - they can pop the sucker right back in for you :)

I had this happen very early in my pregnancy - 4 weeks - and I had to go to the chiropractor to get it popped back into place. I could stretch and get it back in but it would pop out soon after. I don't think my rib popping out was due to my pregnancy since it happened so early but I know that since it happened once it is more likely to happen again.
