Wow, what a great story. Did you do anything different to achieve this? I have a six year old that is autistic and he is low muscle tone and he pooped and puked and was terribly sick for the first 4 years of his life. Except for recently he is getting healthier, but is still non verbal. we have tried the diets and therapy and haven't found what works for him yet.
Just curious to know if you are doing something i have not yet tried.

Just wanted to share some great news....
My toddler was initially diagnosed as severely non-verbal, and with low muscle tone. He was placed in an multiple intensive needs program.
But within 3 months,to our delight and amazement, he became verbal and achieved all his goals!--so much so that he was released to another school, and the general consensus is that he might be released all together next year, when he turns 4.
This is a child that had severe milk, wheat allergies, had Pneumonia back to back, several asthma attacks, sensory integration issues BIG TIME( you would sneeze and he would go off) and so many E.R visits that we have lost count....
Now he is so much stronger, more confident, asking open-ended questions, asking and giving hugs and kisses..me and D.H are so grateful to God....
We are not completely out of the tunnel yet, but we can certainly see the light, and my, it is beautiful! we have come a long way..through a lot of whys? hows? laughs, tears...
To all my warrior mamas-- Hold on! Nothing is IMPOSSIBLE! the best is yet to come.
