It happened to me when I was doing housekeeping at a hotel once, too - the fabric softener they were using on the bedsheets made our hands break out exactly how you've described. Our hotel told us we should wear gloves when we changed the sheets - yeah right. Enough of us complained, so they got the laundry company to change cleaners.

Sounds kinda like a chemical burn Jackie - I get that when I use strong cleaners without wearing gloves. I'll bet it's from the oxi clean! You could put some cortisone cream or Polysporin on it to make it feel better - if that's what it's from it should clear up on its own.

Oh well, at least you got a taste of it, so you know how much fun you'll have! How does Joe feel about doing lessons with you? I know there's NO WAY I would be able to talk Ted into dance lessons, as much as I would love it. I think it's hot when guys are good dancers ;)

i'm holding off until the next set starts fully. We needed to get a cash flow going again with Joe working regularly.. and I want to take the lessons with him.. which also means getting a babysitter. I'll start up again in a few weeks.

I seriously hate it when people do stuff like that. Why can't you just be happy for other people? Honestly, sometimes I Wonder how I ended up with Erich. Seriously every relationship I have been in has been horrible. If I go out without them there are 500 questions when I get back, which sucks. With Erich, I can go out and come home and just go to sleep. He will ask if I had fun, that's about it. If your boss is an amazing chiropractor and a wonderful dancer, I think her husband may just be jealous and insecure because she is so amazing and he probably is not. This will lead to him cutting her down so that he feels "better" than her and she "has" to stay with him.

that sucks katie. I hope he's able to get a job with an orchestra.
here's my mini morning whine, lol..... I was so careful with JP's cold to make sure he didnt' get an ear infection. However I was not as careful with myself and I think I have one. My ears have been stuffy all week, mild pain here and there...but the biggy is that for 3 days - when I stand I get dizzy. It's really getting annoying. grrrrrrr.

dave is done in may with graduate school. 3 things can happen after that. he can find a good orchestra job. he can decide to continue school a little longer but he has to work a part time job. OR, if those don't work out, he's going to join a navy band. he'll have to go to boot camp (hahaha) and he will have to go overseas at times to play for the troops.
i am hoping options 1 or 2 happen. but at this point i'll be happy as long as he has a job and i feel a little less pressure.

Navy life is difficult. If you hubby gets put out on a ship, you will be alone for a while. Hopefully you get a good support system. I'll figure this all out eventually. I'm not making any big decisions until I go to this interview. I would rather get out of the military personally. I guess it's just because I have a family now and the military life is not the way I want my daughter to grow up. Not saying anything bad about it, I just don't want to have to move every couple of years, I think that would be rough on a child.

what tough decisions. i would rather get out of the military, the idea of deploying sounds depressing.

I think the airline was Northwest. Give me the dates you want to go and I will find you an uber cheap ticket. I may even decide to go with you and just find a cheap hotel or something, I refuse to stay with Erich's parents, they bug me. I am leaning more towards getting out, deployments with a baby are not something I want to do. I just found out about the interview today so... Anyways the interview is at the closest FAA facility, which for us is the tower at the airport in OKC. Those tickets I found were like last minute tickets leaving out of Witchita, airport code ICT. Would it be just you and Caleb or would Josh be going also? Again, if you get this before you pick up Alexys, sorry about the whole diaper thing, I'm such an airhead.

Ok, the job deal is as follows. The instructor job would be to teach future military air traffic controllers the basics of the career field. I would still be in the military. The job in Maine is as an air traffic controller with the FAA, would not be in the military. I would rather be out of the military. However, it's just an interview for the job in Maine, which by no means says I am guaranteed the job. After the interview it can take six months to start work. I quit getting paid by the military on the 8th of December. I am not sure what my decision will be, this is a hard one to make.

I think Maine sounds beautiful - but I've never been. Is this another teaching job, Tiffany? Have you decided what you're doing as far as jobs go?

No touring, they just call our three years in Biloxi a "tour" as an instructor. If I get out I'll move when I find a job and don't know where yet.

Oh, well if you do get stuck here, you can come to Biloxi and be my live in nanny. Yeah, that is how that will work... I hope you don't get stuck here. I've been here for three plus years and it is not that great at all. The only good thing that happened the entire time I was here is I had Alexys. You will get an assignment out of here, I hope. If I'm still here I'll come to assignment night with you just to cross every body part that I can.
