Yeah, Erich would probably want to come also. Hmmmm..... what to do what to do. I know we could do something to get the men out and just be the girls. Anyone else around that area?

Speaking of halfways and New Orleans, I got in a lot of trouble there while I was in tech school. ahh the memoreis of mommy free days where all I had to worry about was myself. Ok, flash snap back to reality because my infant is chewing on my foot.

Well, the house I'm looking at buying is 5 bed 2.5 bath with 2 kitchens so you could make a weekend of it and just stay with us. Or, I could always drive in your direction. I just remember all the people who needed to be run over and I was thinking how convenient that you, your van, and I will be in a close proximity.

I totally understand that babysitter thing. If I really and truly want to clean I take Alexys to daycare on a day that I took off work and just get it all done. It is nearly impossible to seriously clean with an infant around. So jackie, when I move to Biloxi are you coming to visit me? We could get into trouble with your van.

I swear men think there are magical cleaning fairy people who come and clean when no one is home and that we do nothing. I want a magical cleaning fairy. Nope, I just started not cleaning unless Erich is here then acting really annoyed with him when he doesn't help, not to mention I am really loud about the fact that I am doing it alone.

About two months ago we had so much rain it was flooding all over. I would have gladly shared with you. Jackie- I think all men are like that. By the way, if and this is a big if, you get a man to clean anything it's like he expects a huge fit of applause and at least three cookies for it. Am I the only one who noticed this?

It is a lot of work to get great deals at garage sales. I used to work very hard, especially while I was pg. When I saw a crib that I absolutely had to have with lots of people congregated around it at a yard sale I made Erich stop the car in the middle of the road, no waiting for parking, and I jumped out while the car was still moving to get the crib. I then proceeded to crawl into it and claim it as mine until Erich got there after parking with the money to give the lady so that I could leave with the crib. I'm sure I looked insane.

I get what you are saying on the not going to church thing. I hate that people pretend their family is great while at church, seriously, shouldn't you just let it all out there, if ther is ever a place to let it all out, you would think church was it. Hope things get better for you soon Kelly.

Jackie I worked hard for those yesterday, lol. It was so hot and the streets have hills and it was unseasonably hot. PLus i was still dressed for work in black slacks, black knit top and a sweater I didn't want to take off as my upper arms are horrible looking. The sweater did eventually get taken off, lol.
I am having a rough morning. My cold is annoying me. JP fell off the couch because I thought he'd be entertained and stationary with his new elephant toy. Silly me. Peanut and I are having issues and she's currently in JP's room with the door closed. She knows I'm upset with her as she's not whining to get out. I'm not sure I want to speak to her today at all. I'm not going to church as I don't want to deal with Joe being all lovey dovey and putting his arm around me. Its just his way of pretending everything is just fine here.

I want to get deals like that. I used to garage sale all the time, but... sadly... I haven't gotten around to it lately. Just other things to do these days. It's so hard to do it with Alexys also,

ooo thats going to be so nice.
I'm not up to much. I went to a local village today that was having a village wide yard sale. I got:
graco pack and play (for job 2) leap frog rhyme and roll elephant bead and wire board fun musical ball thingy peek a block goldfish with some peek a blocks winnie the pooh truck toy baby whisperer toddler book plush gund cuddle dog 'rug' and my favorite - another bead and wire toy.. but the wire is in the shape of a train!
I spent a total of $15.00 on everything.. and that was using a $5 that someone dropped on the sidewalk that I found.

Last post on here was seriously on 9/20? Wow we've been slacking. Soo, how is everyone doing? What have you all been up to on a day to day basis? Pretty much nothing here, although on Monday my carpet is getting professionally cleaned and my tile is getting installed and I get a new fence, or at least I hope I get a new fence.

I had to search for this thread, I imagine it was fairly well buried (since it has been a week and a half since anyone used it).
Just saying good-night to y'all. Got called into work at 10pm and got home around 1 am. So, time to get some sleep and hopefully no more calls tonight.
We're packing up the house tomorrow and moving all weekend, so I might not have much time to come by and say hi.

so i listed my wedding gown on craigslist. Got a response this morning. The language in the wording was a bit off so I responded and waited. Yup. someone trying to get me to participate in one of those nigerian scams. I emailed them back that I wasn't playing that game, good luck finding someone that gullible and should they feel compelled to contact me again they should know this is a cash only deal. sigh.

Sounds like a plan jackie, lol. I keep telling Joe I need another wife and that poligamy is just a man's way of getting out of everything in the home, lol.
pretty puppy - we once had a mutt that had the exact color and markings of a red husky.

you weren't pessimistic at all.. and I hear you on tired. I'm off to be shortly.
Joe's money problems stem from MIL never really teaching them how to handle money. She controlled it and called it teaching. sigh.. i'm too tired to even get angry about this. Oh well at least we had a lot of laughs at work today and JP had me laughing this evening. heck even Peanut was a good girl and chilled on the barking.
I'm off to bed. My eyes are closing.

dave and i get $50 each for the month. that includes dates. if we want to go out to eat it comes out of one of ours (or both) allowances. its tight, and a bit restricting, but without that we struggle.
sorry i was so pessimistic in my last post. i'm really tired!

joe refuses to set a budget. He claims he doesn't know what he needs and won't even estimate. Thats in addition to the fight i get when I mention it. Heaven forbid someone give him limitations. What the heck is so hard about setting a budget?? It's not like I'm telling him to live on $20 a week. But I'll be darned if he gets $140 a week. Thats probably close to what he is spending now... but I refuse to have that as his 'budget' amount when I can live off of $30
