Well I went in to the Hospital On a Friday, the day after I was due at 3pm, for swollen fingers. I was in Triage til 9 pm, when they told me i have the begining stages of preclampsia. They decided Since I was Due the day before they would keep me. Dr. Came in and broke my water at 10pm, Epidural and Petocin at 11pm. I Kept falling asleep so I don't remember much of the time I was in However I woke up on Sunday, at 4:30am to my Dr telling me I needed a C-Sec. 5 am I had my 8 lb 4.8 oz 21" baby girl. I was in the hospital a total of 11 days cause I was allergic to Percoset (spelling??) It was Fun HAHAHAH

#1 was 20 hours. Gave in and got the epidural after 15 hours. Ahhh, sweet relief! Only pushed for 25 minutes. #2 and # 3 were 9 hours and 3 quick pushes. Hoping that with twins I will get to go a bit quicker!

First one was in labor for around 32 hours, they were ready to give me a c-section then she finally came out 6pm My second one only 3 hours I was 9 C when I got to the hospital. They were both no epidural. So who knows about this one. But it is funny now my first one she is fast at everything and my second one is slow at everything.

3.5 hours start to finish. 3 pushes (should have been 5 pushed but I refused to push since my husband wasn't in the room yet. He came running in as she was coming out!)For my next one I'm going to just move into the hospital at 36 weeks otherwise I'll be that woman with a baby on the side of the road!

From the time I was admitted (because my water broke)... 43hrs. Needless to say it was a c-section because she was not coming out the other way. Never got to the pushing part thank goodness. I got to 9cm and 90-something percent effaced and started going backwards. got back to 80% effaced before the doc start talking about a c-section.

Hi, I was a little nervous about my impending birth, but also excited to meet my baby. I chatted to him a lot all the time but especially a few weeks before he was born explaining to him about his upcoming journey. I also spent time visualising his journey down the birth canal and out into the world. I kept this positive image in my head and just thought that nature would take it's course. A few days before he arrived I told him that if he was ready so was I. Four days later I awoke at 6.30am with menstrual type pains. I sent my partner to work and just went about my day. I used my yoga ball and went and lay in the bath for a while which was fantastic, I felt nothing. I got a surprise when I stepped out of the bath, I had a bloody show and then proper contractions kicked in. I arrived at the hospital just before 2pm already 9 cm dilated and my son was born just after 4pm. It went fast, the baby got a little distressed, but an all natural birth. slaine 2yrs

I hope this is how i post my storie lol. Well i had a horbal time when it came to the last days of my pregnancy. I was dilated 4cm for 2months. and for the last 2weeks i was 4cm 80%efaced and at stage 2. So he was already. Now get this for five whole days i was 5cm and my contractions was 7min apart for a whole 5days. One the fith day they broke my water and after being in hospitail for 2hour and a half and he came so i was happy thinking yes two hour labor in the hospital but really it was five days of hell!!! And if you want to know it was a natural labor. Now dont get me wrong it was all worth it i have a great child and was blessed to have him

36+ hours of hours of ineffective, prodromal labor. C-section. It was a very good hospital but I wish I'd had a doula or someone to help shake off the exhausting prodromal labor! Now I'm hoping for VBAC...

I was in early labor for three weeks, I know it sounds ridiculous. I didn't believe it was actually time to go to the hospital. I made y husband drive me to the midwife to make sure. Contractions for three weeks sucked, but... I was only in the hospital for one day after my little guy was born, I had no tearing, no episiotomy, and I healed up super well. My midwife said it was because of all the early labor. My first labor was 15 hours, i had to have petocin and they ended up using the vacuum to help get him out.

43hrs before they finally decided to call it. C-section resulted. Pregnant again and already scheduled my c-section. Not going through all that again. Ugh!

46 hours...
Cervadil was started around 9:30 on a Monday night, my water broke not long (10:30pm) after starting that... pitocin all day on the Tuesday but no significant progress that day, then a second round of cervadil Tuesday night followed by pitocin again all day on Wednesday. My baby girl arrived just before 8:30pm on Wednesday, 2/16/11.

I had an appointment with my ob/gyn on the day I was due and she discovered I was leaking fluid, I couldnt tell. She sent me upstairs to the delivery floor that was at 10:00 am. I was induced to get labor started around 10:30, got my epidural at 5pm and starting pushing around 9:30 and I finally had my baby girl at 10:00 pm that same day!

Total labor about 25 hours. Went to hospital after about 23 hours. Got there around 12:45AM and had him at 2:15AM after dialating from a 4-10 in that timeframe. LOL. All natural water birth (well, tub was half full by the time I was ready to push!) and I pushed maybe twice. He was sunny side up (fun back labor with a herniated disc) so the pain the last hour was INTENSE.

With my first...about 9.5 hours of what I consider "labor"...same with my second...my third, I decided my contractions were regular and hard enough at 3:30 p.m...went to the doctor's office at 4:50 to be checked...had him there at 4:56 :) My last baby was probably about 4 hours b/f i went in and 1.5 hoursonce there till I was holding her.

My labor started at 2:20 a.m. and zack was born at 6:50 p.m. Once they broke the water it was 45 minutes of pushing. It was 16 and a 1/2 hours of natural labor on my first baby.

I had contractions on and off for about a week, but didn't start real labour until my water broke at 3am on Wednesday morning... admitted to hospital Wednesday evening, started drugs to speed up dialating on Thursday morning, started pushing at 5:30pm thursday, then at 11pm (after pushing that entire time) they gave up and I had an emergency c-section...
So total for real labour was 41 hours.
She was sunny side up and twisted so she wasn't coming out.
