We just did a session of swimming one day a week and now that that is over he's taking skating lessons. He does nursery school 2 mornings a week and loves that. There was also a free class called Shake Rattle and Roll that I could bring both kids too that has a bunch of semi-structured physical activities once a week for parents to do with the kids. Both kids loved it!

Wow, thinking about kindergarten already kind of makes me sad!! We're from a very small town so only one choice for anything!

Bennett does preschool 3 days a week which he loves. He also has swimming twice a week and Sportball (a combination of sports like soccer, basketball, golf, etc) once a week. He loves to stay active so it really doesn't feel like too much. We have to start applying for kindergarten as early as September here (if you want to get into a good one anyway) so it is crazy that I am already attending info sessions for next September! Kindergarten??!! How did our little ones grow up so fast??!!

Around here in this small small town there isn't really anything the kids can get involved in until they are 3 and they go along with the school years so for Elle that meant almost 4.

We started her in 3yr preschool which is two days a week and she LOVES it! She is pretty disappointed it doesn't last longer so I called and got her signed up for dance classes (ballet and tap) once a week that she starts tomorrow.

Her dad and I are a little concerned about the cost of the dance classes and getting her too involved at such a young age but we agreed we think it would be good for her.

Just curious what your kids are up to.
