I do leave Justin in there. I am in and out of the bathroom and I am talking to him and listening to him sing and play when I am not in there. He is a very cautious child and does not stand up in the tub unless I am there to hold his hand.

I do leave Ethan in the tub by himself when Calli needs me. Ethan talks and sings to himself the entire time in the tub so when he's quiet I yell to see if he's okay. He hates it when I leave the room though and usually if Calli wakes up and needs me when he's in the bath he just decides it's time to get out. I also have started giving the kids baths together now so of course am right in there holding onto Calli.

Cute picture Bri!
I've left the bathroom for a few seconds, like to quickly put away laundry. Not gone very long, plus I can still see him in the bathroom mirror. I still do worry about things like that.

I still do (sort of) sit by the tub. I DO walk out when I have forgotten something: a towel, an undershirt , etc gone for a few seconds, . but mostly I use the playtime portion of his bath( after Ive cleaned him) as time for me to get ready for bed, take my makeup off, etc. I am standing there at the sink, not exactly watching, but still there.
I keep in mind a story a friend told me: the bottom line, it takes only seconds for something to go wrong. It may be too early to leave them alone .
Hope this helps
