I didn't get engorged after weaning but I did get that full feeling if I heard him crying...can't remember exactly how long it lasted...maybe a few weeks? It wasn't long this time before my milk was completely gone but with my daughter I still felt like I was having the milk let down for up to a year after she weaned and that I still had a little milk left too then...so I think it can vary a lot from woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy.

Ok I breastfed Justin for 22 months. Well I stopped a few weeks ago. Well on Tuesday it will be a full 2 weeks and I am still sore and engorged (sp). Is that normal for it to be like this so long? It hurts.
