That's awesome that she's downsizing, and you're not loosing your spots :) Maybe in the longrun it will be better for those boys who are bitters.

I'm so happy something was done about the situation. I'm sure everyone will be happier in the long run.

That's great! I know it will be hard for the other families, but it will be much easier on your daycare provider now and she will feel better, be more relaxed and be able to have more fun and enjoy the kids she will continue to care for. I'm am glad everything has worked out for you :)

That's great news for you and probably best for your daycare lady in the long run too!

Poor Morgan again! I am SO sorry she got bit again. Maybe the new biter has watched the other biter and is learning this bad behavior as a way to communicate and/or get what he wants. It is so sad that they are both taking it out on poor little Morgan though. Have the little boys bit anyone else at the daycare - or is it just Morgan? Maybe you could ask the daycare provider to be Morgan's shadow for a little while so that she can jump in whenever someone looks like they may hurt her - just until the situation is under control. Hope today goes better!!

Well some good news and bad news today. First of all i get to daycare and found out she got bit by another little boy on the back of her arm. Not that bad but still the point that she was hurt again. You could tell the daycare lady felt awful. I also saw her repremend the little boy who bit her yesterday. He tried to go off and play with some other kids in another room and she told him no that he has to stay close to her. So at least she's watching him. My dh sort of came unglued tonight but he understands that it was a differnt boy and she's never been hurt by him before. Now if I come to pick her up from daycare tomorrow and she's got another mark I'm going to loose it.

Yikes! Poor Morgan. When Ethan was smaller another little boy at daycare (the daycare provider's son in fact) hit him in the face with a toy several times causing bruises on his cheek and forehead. I felt sick knowing that it happened and I wasn't there to protect him! Luckily it didn't happen more than once! I have no idea what I would do in your situation. Hopefully the biting doesn't happen again!

We have morgan is a home daycare and we love it. She loves going there and never cries when I leave. Sometimes she acutally asks to go there to play. Well yesterday I picked her up from daycare and she was bitten again by the same little boy. Now I know that children all go thru this phase but he bit her on her face like on her cheek bone. If he would have moved just an inch up he would have gotten her eye. Now of course I'm upset but I'm not sure what to do. I talked to the daycare lady but really she can't do anything to him besides give him a time out and tell his parents(who I guess were very upset with him). She told me that she would try to keep these two seperated for the next couple of weeks and see if things get better and if not she said she would take further action. Not quite sure what that means. My DH is so upset that he said the next time it happens he is going over there and telling the daycare lady that either he goes or we go. I know this is the right thing to do but I don't want to move morgan from daycare. She loves this one so much. I need some help/advice please!
