I love picking out maternity clothes! There are so many cute maternity clothes out there now and it is soooo much fun buying new clothes anyway. I think that being pregnant and having a baby belly is sooo beautiful!
We are very excited about adding onto our family.

YA I ACTUALLY BOUGHT MY FIRST TWO MATERNITY OUTFITS LAST NIGHT. MY BOYFRIEND WAS WITH ME AND HE ACTUALLY HAD TO HELP ME PICK THEM OUT BECAUSE I WAS HAVING SUCH A HARD TIME PICKING THEM OUT. HE DID GOOD I TRIED ON A FEW THINGS ON BEFORE I GOT MY FINALS, BUT I GOT TWO CUTE PANTS THAT I CAN BUTTON THEM UP LIKE CAPRI'S IF I GET HOT, AND TWO PRETTY SHIRTS. IT WASN'T THAT BAD, I WAS GETTING UPSET AT FIRST BUT THEN I REALIZED WE ALL HAVE TO DO IT SOONER OR LATER(MY WAS SOONER)

I'm only about 9 weeks, and already some of my pants don't fit along with my favorite bra . Today I decided to see if I coud get away with some capri track pants, (actually they're pj's from target, but they don't look it at all), and so far my Dad, (he's my boss), hasn't said anything about them. SO I think I will be shopping for a lot more of these this weekend, I'll just have to remember to get a larger size because my A$$ barely fits in these! LOL!

I am in the same boat. I only had one pair of pants left that I could wear to work. I went ahead and sprung for a few maternity pieces. But now my bras look like band-aids, but I'm afraid to get new ones and then I can't wear them in a few months. It is so frustrating.

It is awkward. My biggest problem lately is bras! I can't even breath when I'm wearing one half the time and I'm scared to buy new ones because I don't know how much bigger they are going to get!

I recommend the miracle pant from motherhood-you can adjust the waist (and yes they have petite!) as well as old navy. I went to target over the weekend and they have regular shirts that are longer length (tunic length I think its called) I just bought medium instead of small and they cover the belly pretty good, also if you wear maternity pants they cover the belly band. This is an awkward time and getting dressed is very stressfull!!!

I lucked out, I recently lost 40 pounds and still had some of my larger clothes around. Of course it makes me want to cry when I put them on though! The skirts seem to work best for me as they can still be quite large and my huge hips will still keep them up while they don't pull at my belly. The shirts on the other hand are another story. I got rid of most of my old summer t-shirts so all the ones I have now are so tight across my boobs!

I remember that stage well!
Congratulations on your baby -- things DO get better (at least as far as clothing goes!)
Let us know if you give in and ask about the track suit!!! LOL! I would love to hear about it!

Hang in there. I am in maternity pants, though they are a bit large still. I bought some at Motherhood Maternity (not my fave, but they actually have petite length). They have the full belly band. I found that it I roll it in half, they stay up, AND they are comfy.

I am 11 weeks and I have absolutely no clothes that fit me without making me look very stupid or without making me feel very uncomfortable. My stomach feels sooooo tight and enormous. I have had a look around for some maternity clothes but at the moment they are too big, what a predicament. I wear suits to work and the buttons on the jackets are straining, I look like a Buffalo on their way to a business meeting. This part of pregnancy is so hard when we are "in between". I think i might ask my boss if i can wear a tracksuit to work, but since i havent told him yet such a request may be met with disdain and bemusement. My boobs are the size of a Page 3 Playboy Bunny, however the rest of my body is anything but Hugh Hefner material. My hair is thin and grandma like, my skin looks like I just started high school and since I have been eating everything i can get my chubby hands on my legs, face, back and arms have grown a nice big thick layer, otherwise known as fat! Sorry to rant and rave but I am sitting at work, shoes kicked off under my desk, belly hitting the keyboard and all i can think about is whether one of my colleagues has eaten the last piece of cake in the fridge!
