Around my 10th week, I also started feeling better. But don't get fooled. During week 12 I was hit with a massive dose of symptoms. I experienced sickness in addition to the previous nausea. I was miserable. I am nearing the end of week 13 and my energy level has returned, I have no more nausea/sickness, I am eating more, and I actually gained a couple of pounds (up until now, I have only been loosing). I guess every "body" is different.

From a sickness standpoint, I am feeling much better than I have in about 2 months, but from a exhaustion standpoint, it's WAY worse.
I guess being pregnant means there is always going to be something going on with my body that will interfere with its normal functioning and operation!

My OB also said that hormones peak around 10 weeks, and that this coincides with the worst of the symptoms. I'm 9 1/2 weeks and have been feeling better. Nausea is nearly gone, but I'm still suffering from insomnia and some food aversions. Despite the inability to sleep well, I don't feel quite as tired. So far, my worst tummy symptoms were around week 8.
I am feeling like you are. I am 12 wks now, but at the end of my 10th wk I began to feel almost normal. I worried that something was wrong, but was reassured that everything is fine. My doctor told me that in general your highest hormone levels are between the 6th & 10th weeks of pregnancy. Not only do they decrease a little at 10 weeks, but your body has had time to adjust some to the elevated hormones. So, if you are lucky you start to feel better. I know it is hard not to be anxious. During early pregnancy, m/s is the only sign you have that things are progressing along like they should.

Has anyone else started feeling better in their 10th week? I know you are supposed to feel better in the second trimester but I am in week 10 and feel so great today. I am hungry, food tastes good, no nausea, not tired, breasts are just a little sore, and I have lots of energy. Just wondering if this is something anyone else has had. I was a little worried this morning that I had lost pregnancy symptoms. I am still paranoid about miscarriage!
