Hey girl!
Just got a chance to check in. It's been pretty crazy over here (I'll mommy mail you if your at all interested in our crazyness!)

So glad Sincere had a great first day! He sounds super cute at school, what great answers "nature and bugs".

Girl, so sorry about the mixed feelings, I know how tough it is, when memories of our loved ones are strong. You did such a great thing by writing Sincere a letter and documenting this special day for him and you.

Eek, my battery is about to die, so I better post before it's lost!

First Child: We named her Miri Cole because she is!

Second Child: We named her Mila Oretta (Mila is short for miracle in Spanish).

lol that is too funny he thought it was a one day event. I bet in time he would be so excited for school. I wonder if they do show and tell in kindy? I think that would be a good activity for Sincere!!!!

NJF- He got home and I let him chill out for a while and play. Then I put him down for a nap. He was exhausted. Took about 25 minutes to get in the house from school. Yesterday he wasn't to bad in the morning. But this morning he woke up and was grump and complained the entire way there. He told me he wanted to stay home and learn with me. I think he thought school was a one day event. LOL!

Sincere came on his due date Nov 4th 2006. He is the best thing I have ever done.

awwwwwwww! (hugs) you did great Sincere. SOOO happy for him. It will just get better from now on.
Shouldnt the teacher know his birthday from his school records? why is she asking you this? As if it make a difference. He is fine.
funny how there was a whole thomas clan lol too cute. Hey at least he didnt wear those cars sandals hahaha.

Did he take a nap when he got home? how was the commute to school? did you guys take the bus or subway? How did he react to going that morning?

Thanks Netty for thinking about me.:)

It's tomorrow and for only half a day. I am planing on staying for the first 30 minutes and then coming a little early to pick into the classroom.

One thing that has been making it tougher is that it's been bringing up a lot of memories of mom and my first day of kindergarten. For some reason it's a really vivid memory for me and it really makes me miss my mom. So lots of feelings mixed up. :(

I will keep you guys posted. Today we are going to go to Staples to get some stuff that I promised him for school plus I need to pick up new socks for him.

How did you do? Were you able to get anything done, or were you zoning out and thinking about Sincere the whole time. It's so hard, but I hope everything went well!
