For all that may be wrong with the US, I implore you to leave the Real Housewives alone. That's quality television, and I will accept no arguments to the contrary.
Antonio and I console ourselves about Detroit by remembering that for how messed up it is, we got Matilda out of it, so it'll always perversely be our favourite city in the world (ooh, look at my previous spelling of "favorite"...I've been teaching at a a British school for too long!).
I know what you mean about the love-hate relationship...I feel exactly the same way about both Portugal and the US.

Hi Sandra! Glad to hear all is well. I remember when we were sitting around at the baby cafe complaining about MI and casually thinking about going back to school, and now you're back in Romania doing therapy! (sidenote: we really had monumentally terrible attitudes about living there...I kinda' sorta' regret that and will try not to take that approach to any other place I live...though...let's face it...it was what it was)
I will be very curious to see what happens to Aris linguistically while he's in the US! How will the flight work?
I'm fairly sure you don't miss the Detroit area, but is there anything about the US that you find yourself missing?

Also THANK YOU guys for your concern. If feels great to know people you shared parts of your life with are still remembering you :) I have got the chance of meeting Sarah and Imola in those 5 y, and if all of you are as great , we are a very lucky bunch if ladies on this board.

Hi guys :) We are well. I deleted the fb acc because I started to spend to much time on it, and I was not having all that time available now that the nr of patients is increasing... Everything is well. Aris adjusted already, he speaks thr language pretty well, ( that might change a bit since he will go visit his dad for 2 mo in a couple of days).I think I am in a good loop :) I work for a third of the market price, so that I can help clients that cannot afford to do CBT with their kids once a week, and the good Karma part seems to work :) since Aris is well, the new relationship is not new anymore, and again, going really well, and nothing seems to be problematic yet. I decided no more Facebook :) at least for a while, now I am running about 3-4 k aday, starting tennis next week, and trying to stay out as much as possible. I might come visit babyfit more often now that I regained time :) How is everything around hrere? How are the boys? Aris is sobig already it scares me sometimes :) he would do and say the darnest things. Yesterday he was telling me he would like this world to be smaller :)) I started pianno with him. He is no prodigy but he started managing doing two hands in the same time, and he loves it. He will take a break for the summer and start again in the fall. The preschool schedule is so complex here he needs a vacation that is 100 % playing. I am thinking of starting tennis with him in the fall, not sure if it is a good idea... any sports reccomendation for a boy that likes art, princess's and wants ti become a " worker doctor rockstar"?:):):)
edited to add something for Indrani: How is Anoushka? I will be in Canada in august at one point to pick up Aris. I intend to fly to and from Toronto, so we might actually get to see each other. The thing is that I will not have a car since now I am a tourist in that area :):) so you might have to run over Kitchener one day if you have time :)

I've been thinking of her too. Last she mentioned, Aris was trying to readjust to the changes. I hope they are well and happy. She deserves it!!!
