And yes, the bump is always a great sign to go by, because if there weren't a bump on the outside, that would mean there is one on the inside (aka brain swelling and/or bleeding), so that is good news. I know it happened a few days ago, has she been ok??

Sounds like she is doing okay. You usually know pretty quickly after a fall if you need to go to the hospital.
I would have been so angry. You are such a strong woman to hug your friend afterwards! I think I would've just left because I was so mad. But at the same time, I am sure she feels terrible.
And why do these type of things always happen when the daddies are gone?!?!? :) Sorry, Teesa. Sending you a hug!

Oh geez- poor girl! Maybe you should put her in a helmet till she learns some graces ;) ;) Just kidding, of course. Not trying to make light of it! My niece is also very clumsy. I feel bad for her... she is constantly falling. She'll just be walking and trip over nothing and stumble. She's turning 3 soon and is getting a little more coordinated but yeah, still stumbles a lot. When I babysit her, I'm half afraid to take her outside on pavement because she gets tripped up so easy-- and cries VERY easily too, over scrapped knees etc. Sigh. Annnyway, I sure hope you can catch a break soon, Teesa and have a day when you can write Bill a pleasant email :)

Bless yours and carolinas heart! Head bumps are so hard to cLl. A dr told me a bump is a good thing though. it's when there is no bump you really need to worry. It doesn't help us sleep better regardless though. I hope she's doing ok today and that bill van get his luggage or toiletries! Thinking ofnyou guys!

She seems okay this morning. She's not acting strange and her pupils are dilating the same. It's so hard to see them b/c her eyes are such a dark chocolate color!
I know my friend felt pretty horrible about what she did. I had to force myself to hug her in front of Carolina to show her that I forgive her for the accident. I actually DO forgive her, but at the time I was just feeling anger. Still, my little girl...she's just taken one too many falls. I was laying in bed last night wondering how many IQ points she lost. :(
I'll keep an eye on her today and give her lots of hugs.

Hope Carolina is doing better....
That would really infuriate me too if someone dropped my child on their head from throwing them in the air... what do people think. I'm so cautious with other peoples children if I play/hold them.
Keep us posted, I hope she's ok.

Oh no! Sorry to hear this, Teesa. How is she this morning? I hope the night went okay and she wakes fine. It's true, their little heads can take a lot, but that's a rather big fall and on something so hard, so I'd continue to monitor the pupil change this morning.

Thanks for the help. She didn't pass out or have a seizure or anything and her eyes seem normal, so I am going to keep an eye on her and that's it. I have woken her up a couple times already and she seems okay (really tired though).
My husband plays that game too and I hate it. He just called me from China after I wrote him about it and was really concerned. Poor guys - he lost both his suitcases and has no clothes or toiletries for the next two weeks. Then I wrote him that note and it gave him pause. I need to have a better day tomorrow so I can write a better email!

I hate that game too! My husband does it to the kids and it drives me crazy! I probably wouldn't take her in unless hse started acting different than normal. I hope she feels better! ugh!

OH MY that is soooo sad. Poor Carolina!! I say go with your gut. If she appears to be fine and is acting normally then you can probably just keep a close eye on her. If you see anything that causes you to be concerned I would take her in. Thankfully God gave us some hard heads and we can take some pretty tough knocks.
