Higher Insurance After C-Sections

Pregnancy News Flash
-- By Stepfanie Romine, Staff Writer

The rate of C-sections in the U.S., according to the article, has reached a record height of 31 percent and 1.2 million were performed in 2006. It's estimated that each year, 500,000 women giving birth have had Caesarians.

Talk to your health care provider about whether a VBAC or Caesarian is the right choice for you and your baby.

Read more about higher insurance costs after C-sections, and a checklist for your own birth plan. Visit the message boards to share your birth story or read others.
