We are all here to build healthy habits, connect with other Moms and have some fun. In order to create a supportive and positive environment, there are some guidelines everyone should observe when posting on the Community Pages (message boards, MommyTeams, article comments). By making posts, you are agreeing to abide by the following standards:
- Carefully consider the accuracy, appropriateness, and phrasing of any claims or suggestions made to other members regarding pregnancy, health, or personal and family issues. The safety of our members is our top priority. The BabyFit Experts and moderators are not medical experts and have no expertise in diagnosing, examining, or treating medical conditions of any kind, or in determining the effect of any specific exercise on a medical condition. Do not take any post or content by another member or BabyFit staff as medical advice. Always check with your own health care professional before acting on suggestions made on the Community Pages.
- A Registered Dietician and Fitness Expert have approved all BabyFit Nutrition and Fitness advice. Please be careful about what you recommend to others, as it could be dangerous if you go outside of medically accepted boundaries. We encourage members to help each other using the BabyFit recommendations. BabyFit experts are not medical experts and all information and advice should be used in tandem with the recommendations of your health care provider.
- BabyFit members and the general public can view all Message Board posts and photos. Do not post messages or photos that you would not want to be in the public realm. Please review our Internet Safety Guide
- Respect everyone's opinions. Even though you might not agree with someone, that doesn't mean they are wrong or deserve to be belittled. Remember that what works for you may not work for everyone else. Give everyone the same courtesy you would expect in return.
BabyFit helps many women to have the healthiest pregnancies and babies possible. The message board community plays an important role in each member's experience. A nurturing community provides many benefits to members including: a place for members to connect with other women in a positive way, and a place to give and receive motivation to lead healthy lifestyles. Maintaining a
positive and safe community for our members is a top priority. We ask that all members kindly respect our guidelines. Together we are changing the health of the world!
